Materials

Our company uses imported fine Italian and Spanish leathers, selected for durability, comfort, and premium aesthetic quality. Each piece of leather is carefully inspected before production to ensure consistency and performance.

Craftsmanship & Design

Some of our hand-tooled designs are created by Stefan Tuma Art Lab exclusively on behalf of Minotaur Co. All associated designs, artwork, and intellectual property rights remain the property of Minotaur Co.

Each strap is handcrafted with attention to detail, meaning slight variations in texture, tone, and finish are natural characteristics of genuine leather craftsmanship and should not be considered defects.

Construction

Our guitar straps are built for strength, comfort, and long-term use. The backing is constructed using:

  • 7mm foam padding for ergonomic comfort and weight distribution
  • Black leatherette or black poly velvet backing for stability and durability

These materials are selected to ensure both comfort during extended playing and long-lasting structural integrity.

Nitrocellulose Finish Warning

Important notice for instrument protection:

Nitrocellulose lacquer finishes are sensitive and may react with certain materials, including leather, synthetic fabrics, rubber, and foam.

If your instrument has a nitrocellulose finish, we recommend:

  • Avoiding prolonged contact between the strap and the instrument when stored in a case or gig bag
  • Not storing the strap inside the same case as the instrument for extended periods
  • Checking compatibility before using guitar stands or accessories that keep prolonged contact with finished surfaces

If you are unsure whether your instrument is nitro-finished or compatible with our materials, please contact us. We are happy to provide guidance.

Warranty

All Minotaur Co. products come with a 3-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects under normal use.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse or improper handling
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Accidental damage
  • Modifications or alterations made after purchase

This warranty is provided in addition to any statutory consumer rights applicable under Greek and EU law.
